Keeping it Civil – SolidCAD’s Tech Summit for GBUG
July 11 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Save the date for a chance to connect with our technical specialists from across Canada!
On Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 4 pm – 8 pm, SolidCAD will be hosting our first tech summit for our Groundbreakers User Group (GBUG), a community for Civil 3D users to connect and network.
Have a drink and enjoy some appetizers while hearing from our techs explore the new features in Civil 3D 2020, announce the exciting launch of our Civil Tools, discover SolidCAD’s specifically designed pressure pipe catalog and uncover what InfraWorks does better than Civil 3D.
We are excited to say that at the end of the night you have an opportunity to ask the toughest, hardest, showstopping technical questions. Get ready to try and stump our techs at our panel discussion and if you happen to be successful, you can win a gift card!
What’s new in Civil 3D 2020?
Curious to know if there are any big changes for Civil 3D 2020? We will explore all of its “new” improvements such as; relative elevation feature lines, dynamic offset profiles, cross section buffers, connected alignments, corridor overlap resolution, pressure pipe catalog enhancements and much more!
SolidCAD Pressure Pipe Catalog
During our “What’s New in Civil 3D 2020” session we will explore the latest techniques for creating Civil 3D 2020 Pressure Pipe Networks using the brand-new custom “metric” PVC Pressure Pipe catalog kit developed by SolidCAD.
Launching our SolidCAD Civil Tools
SolidCAD is excited to announce the launch of our very own Civil Tools, a collection of specifically designed add-ons that will help improve productivity when working with Civil 3D. You will be the first to get a firsthand look and live demo and uncover how these add-ons can help you when working with alignments, profiles, feature lines, pipe networks and earthworks volume calculations.
What does InfraWorks do better than Civil 3D?
Do you ever wonder what capabilities InfraWorks has over Civil 3D? Our technical specialists from across Canada, Matt Kolberg and Jae Kwon, will explore some of the key features of InfraWorks and compare it to the functionalities of Civil 3D.
Learn how InfraWorks excels at exploring design options and eliminating costly and stressful dead-end designs. Easily recreate existing conditions, construct designs, analyze traffic and storm conditions, and visually communicate it all with colleagues and clients. What’s more, see how InfraWorks makes the design cycle an engaging and creative experience.
