Introduction to Style Manager from the CIM Manager Suite

Editing styles in Civil 3D can be cumbersome. Edits are generally done one at a time in multiple dialog boxes style by style. Style Manager, a part of the CTC CIM Manager Suite of tools, will enable cad managers to more easily maintain styles for any style-based entity more efficiently than native tools allow.

In this webinar, we will highlight workflows for cad managers to easily maintain standards by editing style properties in spreadsheet format, saving and importing Excel worksheets, and comparing outside drawings with established standards. Using these workflows, managers will be able to quickly compare and adjust styles for external companies, other industries, and/or government entities for consistent drawing productions.

Objectives:

1. Edit Civil 3D styles in current drawing through a familiar spreadsheet interface
2. Exchange style settings between drawing to Excel
3. Compare current drawings style settings with another dwg/dwt
4. Identify differences between Excel file or drawing styles.
