Design & Creation Suite Changes

Effective April 17, 2020 Autodesk will no longer offer renewals of subscription or perpetual maintenance plans for Design & Creation Suites.

Maintenance Plan Changes

As of May 7, 2020, maintenance plans increased by 20%.

On May 7, 2021, maintenance plans will retire.

Multi-user Changes

Autodesk will retire multi-user subscription plans on August 7, 2021.

Single User License Changes

Starting March 25, 2020, all New Single-User Subscriptions will be increased by 5%. Renewals will not be affected by a price increase.

If these updates apply to you and your current license, there is a trade-in offer that can help you save.
For Standalone Maintenance

For standalone maintenance, at your next renewal before May 7, 2021*, you can trade in one seat for one subscription at a cost consistent with what you pay today*.

For Network Maintenance

If you have a network maintenance plan, at your first renewal only, after May 7, 2020*, trade in one seat or subscription for one subscription at a cost consistent with what you pay today. At your first renewal only, after August 7, 2020, trade in one seat or subscription for two subscriptions (for one named user each) at a cost consistent with what you pay today*. Subscriptions with network maintenance plans will retire on May 7, 2021 and cannot be further renewed.

For Multi-User Subscribers

At your first renewal only, after August 7, 2020, trade in one seat or subscription for two subscriptions (for one named user each) at a cost consistent with what you pay today*. Subscriptions with multi-user plans will retire on August 7, 2021 and cannot be further renewed.

For Perpetual License (Without Maintenance)

If you’re using an older perpetual license, you have the opportunity to save big on a 1-year or 3-year subscription to the same product you’re using now, or a different stand-alone product, including a collection. Click here for details.

For Design & Creation Suites

Design & Creation Suites retired in April 2020 are no longer able to be renewed. If you own a Design & Creation Suite, you can contact your reseller or Autodesk to learn more about your options to upgrade to an industry collection through one of the trade-in offers above.

For more administration, reporting, and support features to manage your large team of users, upgrade to the premium plan. If you need a more comprehensive set of tools, upgrade to an industry collection.

*Current maintenance prices will experience a 20% price increase on renewals after August 7, 2020.
