PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

Privacy legislation in Canada defines “personal information” broadly as any information about an identifiable individual such as name, age, contact information, ID numbers and income.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We are responsible under applicable privacy legislation for the personal information in our possession or control.  This includes personal information we receive directly or indirectly from Users or others. HOW DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.

Links and third party websites– our website may present links to other websites.  You should be aware that operators of linked websites may also collect your personal information and information generated through the use of cookies when you link to their website.  We are not responsible for how such third parties collect, use or disclose your personal information so it is important to review their privacy policies before providing them with your personal information.

Advertising – Ads appearing on our site may be delivered to Users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile non personal identification information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

We will obtain a User’s consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information about the User, and the consent of other individuals where required by applicable privacy legislation. In order to provide Users with a high level of service and to maintain appropriate contact preferences, we may ask you to update your personal information from time to time. We provide an ongoing opt-out opportunity at the bottom of each email. Alternatively, Users may opt-out by contacting us through our website or by using the contact information provided below.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of our Site, revise the updated date at the bottom of this page and send you an email (if you have provided us with your email address).
