How to Set Up Bluebeam Revu and Claude
Connect Bluebeam Revu to Claude through MCP in six steps and start running AI-powered workflows on your PDFs.
Setup: 6 steps | Requires: Bluebeam Max and Revu 21.9 or later

What Is the Bluebeam Revu and Claude Connection?
The Bluebeam Revu and Claude connection lets you control Revu with plain-language prompts in Claude, the AI assistant from Anthropic. It uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that gives AI models a secure, controlled connection to software like Revu. The connection is part of Bluebeam Max, the premium Bluebeam plan that adds AI capabilities to Revu.
Once connected, you can ask Claude to search your PDFs, work with markups, compare documents and run multi-step tasks in Revu, without writing scripts. This guide follows Bluebeam’s official setup instructions and walks you through each step, from checking requirements to running your first prompt.
