TORONTO, ON – June 13, 2016– SolidCAD is now one of only two Autodesk partners in Canada with a Simulation Specialization.

Autodesk, a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software developed a program for partners to earn specializations within various disciplines. To earn this recognition, Partners must demonstrate extensive product knowledge including successful implementation, pass all of Autodesk’s industry-specific certification exams and expand their expertise through education courses, workshops and events.

Autodesk simulation tools for structural design, fluid flow, composites and plastic molding help validate new ideas and virtual experimentation with multiple ‘what-if’ scenarios. The use of simulation software helps decrease the need for expensive physical prototypes and reduce both time-to-market and product development costs. As a result, unforeseen problems such as quality issues, expensive rework, product recalls and customer dissatisfaction can be avoided.
