  • Important Update Regarding Covid-19

    Dear Valued Customer,

    SolidCAD has been tracking developments around the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the personal health of all our clients and employees is our primary concern.

    In light of this, we think it’s important you understand what we are doing to keep the staff at our organization and yours safe.  Our SolidCAD sales and technical teams are working remotely to ensure the continuity of our support for your business.  Our personnel working remotely have full access to the tools and data needed to deliver quality support and services you have come to expect from us.  There are however a few notable exceptions to activities we have normally offered that deserve to be mentioned.

    Marketing Events & Open Enrollment Training
    In our support of socially responsible actions we have made the decision to move all our scheduled in-person marketing events online or reschedule them to a later date. In addition, all future public enrollment training classes will also be offered online.  We have done this with the understanding of your growing concerns around the spread of COVID-19, and we hope that this will help protect community health.

    If you have registered for any marketing events occurring within the next 90 days, you will receive communications from our marketing department with access of a new registration link to attend the event online.

    SolidAssist Technical Support
    For those that need support, our SolidAssist line (1-877-438-2231) remains available to reach our team.  We will continue to offer the assistance we can and escalate where necessary.

    Sales Support
    For sales support, our account managers will continue to share with you remote training and service options, communicate any policy updates from our vendors and deliver quality customer service in these remote engagements.  If there are any changes in your business where we can offer additional assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

    The situation with Coronavirus is ever changing and we will continue to monitor developments and react appropriately regarding SolidCAD’s support and communication to our customers.

    SolidCAD Ontario and Quebec Office Closures

    To All SolidCAD Customers,

    The Canadian government recently announced that all non-essential workspaces must be closed in provinces Ontario and Québec.  To comply with this, SolidCAD’s physical offices will be closed until further notice.  We know that many of our customers are essential for the health and safety of the people of Canada.  SolidCAD is committed to supporting all customers by working remotely, providing services to keep your businesses running while doing our part to be socially responsible.

    SolidCAD employees will continue to fulfill orders, provide technical support and deliver value added services to all customers.  Even in this new remote working environment we are prepared and capable to provide the levels of care you have come to expect from us.

    If these updates apply to you and your current license, there is a trade-in offer that can help you save.
    For Standalone Maintenance

    For standalone maintenance, at your next renewal before May 7, 2021*, you can trade in one seat for one subscription at a cost consistent with what you pay today*.

    For Network Maintenance

    At your next renewal before August 7, 2023, trade in one seat for two subscriptions (for one named user each) at a cost consistent with what you pay today*. Subscriptions with network maintenance plans will retire on May 7, 2021, and cannot be further renewed.

    For Multi-User Subscribers

    At your next renewal before August 7, 2023, trade in one subscription for two subscriptions (for one named user each) at a cost consistent with what you pay today*. Subscriptions with multi-user plans will retire on August 7, 2022 and cannot be further renewed.

    For Perpetual License (Without Maintenance)

    For Design & Creation Suites

    *The renewal SRP for standard subscriptions obtained through this offer will increase by no more than 5% in 2021, 2023, 2025, and 2027 – with no changes in SRP for 2022, 2024, 2026 and 2028. Savings of 3-year subscriptions is compared to the SRP for 3 consecutive, annual subscriptions.

    SolidCAD Gives Back to the Village of Love


    Community Spotlight


    In July 2019, SolidCAD donated six training laptops to a local church, Runnymede United Church located in Toronto, Ontario. The church provides some support to Kijiji Cha Upendo, also known as the Village of Love Program in Africa. Village of Love is a grassroots organization located in the slum community of Kibera, Kenya, that provides empowering help to caregivers of children orphaned by AIDS. Currently, the program embraces 90 families, caring for over 600 children, and continues to grow.

    SolidCAD’s donation allowed laptops to be used and shared by multiple children in the community. During a visit to the Village of Love program in November 2019, church member Robyn Salter observed that children of all ages were using the laptops.  They were encouraged to gain skills, knowledge and use of the computers during the school holiday program developed by the Village of Love. In addition, two engineering students in the community could now dedicate their time to improving their ability and expertise in programs like AutoCAD on those same laptops.

    The program is dedicated to giving children and teenagers learning opportunities during their school holidays that they are unable to have otherwise. This demonstrates how even a small donation can provide an unwavering advantage to their future.
