Come join the SolidCAD team for another quarterly Revit Pub Night (Spring Session) and enjoy an evening of craft beer, pub delights, and schmoozing about all things BIM and Revit!
Our goal is to raise BIM and Revit awareness, spread new ideas and grow the Toronto Revit Community in Ontario.
This quarter, we have brought some influential speakers to share their experiences and new practices.
Buildings in the Cloud with Raymond Chow, Partner of gh3
gh3 will discuss the role Collaboration for Revit (C4R) played in advancing the design process through a cloud-based collaborative environment.
Covering both disciplines of architecture and landscape, gh3 will present some of the challenges along the way as a result of an evolving planning process for a multi-residential project with joint-venture architect Cumulus, City Staff, developer. Raymond will uncover the iterative design process for a multi-disciplinary project evolved along with it.
Making Revit Dance: The Automation of BIM with Colin McCrone, Director of Design Technology at Safdie Architects Boston
Join the familiar and seasoned Autodesk University Speaker, Colin McCrone and explore architectural practice of Dynamo scripting in Revit projects. McCrone will uncover in-depth examples from Safdie Architects projects, highlighting how to customize model checking, data extraction and project-specific geometric creation and analysis.
